Dear Bracknell Forest Borough Council,
Where the council is responsible for On-Street and Off-Street pay and display car parking (excluding Off-Street pay-on-foot and pay-on-exit car parks, permits, season tickets, PCN and other income);
For the period 01/04/2019 to 31/03/2020, please could you tell me:
* The total number of pay and display parking tickets or transactions sold (all payment methods)
* The total pay and display income (Cash, Credit/Debit card, Mobile App)
* Total number of pay and display parking tickets or transactions sold via a Mobile App parking payment provider
* Total pay and display income processed via a Mobile App parking payment provider
Finally, in relation to the Council’s current Mobile App parking payment provider, could you tell me:
* What is the contract expiry date for your Mobile App parking payment provider, and are there any extension periods?
* What is the current notice period required in order for the Council to exit this contract?
* What is the current contract value, annualised over the period 01/04/2019 – 31/03/2020?

Thank you for your request for information, below, which was received by the Council ( 29/03/2021) and we will answer your request under the Freedom of Information Act 2000. The FOI Act obliges us to respond to requests promptly, and in any case no later than 20 working days (by 28/04/2021) unless it is necessary to consider the public interest, in which case a full response must be provided within such a time as is reasonable in the circumstances and I will write to you again if this occurs.
The Council is fully utilising its facilities in order to complete all freedom information requests and subject access requests within the statutory time scale. However, whilst we are making every effort to fulfil every request, it is acknowledged both by the Council and the ICO that sometimes other pressures will have to take priority during this difficult time and people may experience unavoidable delays to their FOI and SAR response times. sold (all payment methods) – unknown, the data was held by the previous
contractor Saba whose contract ended 30/06/20
2* The total pay and display income (Cash, Credit/Debit card, Mobile App)
- £810k
3* Total number of pay and display parking tickets or transactions sold
via a Mobile App parking payment provider – zero, introduced in July 20
4* Total pay and display income processed via a Mobile App parking payment
provider – zero, introduced in July 20
Finally, in relation to the Council’s current Mobile App parking payment
provider, could you tell me:
5* What is the contract expiry date for your Mobile App parking payment
provider, and are there any extension periods? We don’t hold the contract
direct it is via our parking management and enforcement contractor,
current contract to 30/06/24 with a 4yr extension.
6* What is the current notice period required in order for the Council to
exit this contract? NA as above
7* What is the current contract value, annualised over the period
01/04/2019 – 31/03/2020? NA as above
