Dear Ms Bradley

We write in response to your recent Freedom of Information request in
which you asked a series of questions relating to pay and display parking
transactions and income.

Please see below the Council’s response to your enquiry, represented in
table format.

For the cashless parking service (pay by phone), this is provided by a
third party (Justparc).  Their IT system currently doesn’t report
separately for on or off-street parking and as such we can only provide a
TOTAL report (see information provided in the final column).  We trust
this is acceptable.

Unfortunately, Wirral Council do not keep detailed records of how their surplus income from on-street and off-street parking charges moves through their accounting system. I have complained about this to the Council's auditor and have so far, been ignored.
