Pavement Parking (TRO)
Dear Brentwood Borough Council,
As local authorities can restrict pavement parking on individual streets (or by area) by making a traffic regulation order (TRO).
Would you please advise as to which streets/areas fall under your jurisdiction have Traffic Regulation Order(s) restricting pavement parking & further breakdown which streets/areas any such restricted pavement parking TRO(s) are applied to?
Do you have an online resource in the public domain which would allow members of public to view active TRO(s)? If you do, would you kindly publish a link to it when responding to this request? If not, would you please provide the email or physical address of the department within your organisation responsible for such matters when replying to this request?
And finally, I would be very grateful if you would clarify whether restricted parking signs are required to be displayed in a restricted pavement parking area in order for civil enforcement action to be effectively carried out should non compliance of a TRO occur?
A swift response to all of the above questions would be enormously appreciated.
Yours faithfully,
Mark Vokes
Thank you for your request.
This has been passed onto the appropriate FOI officer and your request
will be dealt with as soon as possible.
