Dear Mr Green

LFS/AH/RSN18283

Thank you for your recent request made under the Freedom of Information Act.

As advised, in terms of the current fleet we would refer you to the response to your previous enquiry (our ref. LFS/AH/RSN17874) on 3rd September 2018.

Mersey Tunnels Police have conducted thorough searches of their records, and have determined that unfortunately the requested historic records are no longer held. There is no requirement for this information to be retained for long periods of time, and it therefore would have been destroyed.

I am sorry that we could not be of any further assistance on this occasion.

If you are dissatisfied with the handling of your request, you have the right to ask for an internal review, which should be addressed to:
Mrs Julie Watling
Legal, Democratic Services & Procurement Manager
Merseytravel
PO Box 1976

[email address]

If you are not content with the result of your internal review, you also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner, whose address is

Dear Mr Green

LFS/AH/RSN18283

To clarify my previous email, Merseytravel and Mersey Tunnels Police do not own or directly operate recovery trucks. This service is provided by an external firm, and we therefore do not hold any records of their makes, registrations, etc.

Kind regards,

Andrew Henderson
