Dear King's College London,

Please pass this on to the person who conducts Freedom of Information reviews.

I am writing to request an internal review of King's College London's handling of my FOI request 'Past exam papers for 1st year of BSc Computer Science'.

[ GIVE DETAILS ABOUT YOUR COMPLAINT HERE ]

Dear Sir or Madam,
I am most disappointed with King's College London's decision with respect to the pastpapers that I have requested. This is for two reasons:

1) They have provided many pastpapers for other subjects, on this very website; from Law to History.

2) I know several people at the University who are entering their second year this year; they were provided with several pastpapers for each of their first-year modules.

If the necessary information is not provided, with at least 5 pastpapers per module, I intend to take this as far that I can. (They have provided more than that number for the other subjects that have been requested on this site.)

Yours faithfully,

Kevin Fakouri

Dear King's College London,

Please pass this on to the person who conducts Freedom of Information reviews.

I am writing to request an internal review of King's College London's handling of my FOI request 'Past exam papers for 1st year of BSc Computer Science'.

[ GIVE DETAILS ABOUT YOUR COMPLAINT HERE ]

Please disregard my previous message and pay full attention to this one instead: ...

Dear Sir or Madam,

I am very disappointed with your institution's decision. Thus, I shall try to inform you of an additional factor which I hope shall at least partially change it: I am a first-year MSci Computer Science student, and having achieved 100% in my A-level exams for Physics and (Human) Biology in particular, I cannot accept to graduate with any grade below 90% as the average for my qualification, at least not for the examination components.

Therefore, any pastpapers that you can provide me with, even if from 15 years ago, will only serve to improve my chances of achieving my dreams. Thus, I request that you kindly reconsider, and promise that I shall use them only for personal use (for my own studies). Please note, should you not provide me with at least two pastpapers for each of your first-year modules, I shall be forced to pursue this through other avenues, ending with my exhausting any and all legal avenues.

Please e-mail your pastpapers to the e-mail address: [email address].

Please note, I am prepared to provide you with evidence to show you that I shall be commencing my MSci Computer Science course this year.

Yours faithfully,

Kevin Fakouri

Information Compliance, King's College London

Dear Mr Fakouri,

Further to your recent request for information held by King’s College London, I am writing to confirm that the university is upholding its original response sent to you on 27th June 2019. This response was in line with our statutory obligations under section 10(1) of the FOIA which requires a public authority to response within 20 working days.

This completes the university’s response to your request for an internal review.

In the event that you are not content with the outcome of your complaint you may apply to the Information Commissioner for a decision. Generally, the Information Commissioner cannot make a decision unless you have exhausted the internal complaints procedure provided by King’s College London.

The Information Commissioner can be contacted at the following address:

The Information Commissioner’s Office
Wycliffe House
Water Lane

Yours sincerely

Dear Ms Fortgang,

I am not at all content with your upholding of your incomprehensible decision: to not even provide two pastpapers, just T-W-O, per module, and to uphold it despite my preparedness to provide you with evidence that I am a student and shall be using it solely for my own preparation for my upcoming examinations.

With all due respect madam, I view your decision as nothing but a disgrace to the image of King's College London. What you have to lose, most especially relative to the likes of Cambridge, who freely publish all of their past papers online, most perplexes me, to say the least.

I strongly advise you take a look at this: https://www.whatdotheyknow.com/request/p..., your university has much to learn from other universities, not just abroad -- not just the likes of MIT and Harvard -- but right here at home.

Yours sincerely,

Kevin Fakouri
