Participating in amateur sports on a skilled worker visa
Dear Home Office,
Is a person on a Skilled Worker visa prohibited from participating in amateur sport, specifically for leisure and personal enjoyment and without any intention of being paid or earning a living from it?
As a specific example, can a person on a Skilled Worker visa be an amateur football coach in grassroots football such as Sunday League or amateur local leagues - doing so for leisure and personal enjoyment, without any intention of being paid or earning a living from it?
I ask this because there seems to be no clarity on this specific context within the published rules and guidelines.
Yours faithfully,
Kelvin Omuojine
