Following your correspondence of 6th September 2022 requesting information from Stroud District Council, we have completed our searches and concluded that the information you have requested is not held by Stroud District Council.

We do not hold copies of the notices requested. The Notice of Poll and Statements of Person Nominated are disposed with as per our Data Retention Policy after the election petition deadline has passed (21 days following the election).

If you are dissatisfied with our management of your request, Stroud District Council has an internal review process which you can access by emailing [email address] or by calling 01453 766 321. If you are still dissatisfied after review, you also have the right to appeal to the Information Commissioners Office who can be contacted at ico.org.uk or by calling 0303 123 1113. Thank you for advising us that there are Statement of Persons Nominated on our website, I have looked and can only see the Statement of Uncontested Election for Whiteshill Parish By-Election which contains the Statement of Persons Nominated, I have now removed this as the election occurred over 21 days ago. I have reminded the team of the need to diarise in their calendars document removal dates in line with our retention policy.

The Statement of Persons Nominated you have included in your email can be found from a web search (using google) however is no longer available directly on our website as the webpage was removed earlier this year. I have spoken to our web developer to enquire why the media file could still be found and he advised that although the relevant webpage had been deleted the PDF was still showing in the media area and therefore Google was able to locate it. He has advised that this should now have been resolved but may take a few days for google to update.
