Parking restrictions
Dear Haringey Borough Council,
Please let me know the normal parking restrictions, hours of enforcement etc, on each stretch of road within the N6 part of the borough. An annotated map would be fine.
Yours faithfully,
Simon Briscoe

Dear Roberts-Wray Chris,
Thank you for the response.
However, if the link you sent to me is only about CPZs it is not answering the question fully. I want to know about all restrictions on all roads in N6 - for example that would mean including red routes and all pay and display spaces etc.
Yours sincerely,
Simon Briscoe
Dear Mr Briscoe,
Thank you for your further enquiry.
I am only able to provide you with information this council retains. I am
unable to comment on restrictions on Red Route, this request would need to
be addressed to Transport for London. I am aware that some street in the
N6 post code are within Islington Council you would need to approach
Islington for this information.
The link I have provided will indicate the operation hours and days of the
CPZ's (restrictions) in the N6 area.
Yours sincerely,

Dear Roberts-Wray Chris,
Once again, thanks. So are you saying that the council does not know where it has pay and display bays?
BTW - there are parts of N6 in Camden but not Islington.
Yours sincerely,
Simon Briscoe
Dear Mr Briscoe,
Thank you for your further enquiry.
Firstly I apologise for my error, I did mean Camden and not Islington.
I have attached your original FOI at the bottom of this email for
information. Your original request did not ask for locations of Pay and
Display bays in the N6 Area.
I have provided the information you requested in your original FOI.
If you have any further queries, or are unhappy with how we have dealt
with your request and wish to make a complaint, please contact the

Dear Roberts-Wray Chris,
Hello. I asked the question hoping to get an answer that would tell me what restrictions there are for parking on any stretch of road. In most cases that is just the cpz but that is not the full answer. On Highgate High Street for example, there is a cpz zone but also pay and display machines. I know that Haringey is not responsible for the red routes but imagined that you'd have knowledge of the parking regulations surrounding them. If not how are instructions given to enforcers? Or are red routes not enforced by Haringey staff? Perhaps the answer to this question is found in instructions for enforcers.
If you are able to let me have the information I want as part of this FoI request, that would be great. If that is not possible can you please tell me how I should phrase the question to get that information?
Yours sincerely,
Simon Briscoe
Dear Mr Briscoe
Thank you for your email to Chris Roberts-Wray dated 09 October 2012.
As you were advised in the attached email, you would need to contact Transport for London direct in regards to the parking restrictions on red routes.
If you would like to request the pay and display bay locations you would need to submit a new Freedom of Information request.
As you have been advised, if you are unhappy with how your request has been handled, you may request an internal review or make a complaint.
I trust the above is of assistance. Please contact me if you have any questions.
Yours sincerely

Dear FOI,
Hello. Your latest message does not answer the questions in my message of 9/10/12. Are you able to be more helpful?
Yours sincerely,
Simon Briscoe
Dear Mr Briscoe,
Thank you for your e-mail.
I can advise that Haringey Council do not undertake enforcement on red routes.
If you are unhappy with the response to your original FOI request, we can undertake an Internal Review of this for you but would need to know why the answer you received did not fulfil your request.
Otherwise I cannot add anything further to what my colleague Ms Selby advised previously.
Regards,
S Dyos | Feedback Review Team Leader | Haringey Council | Feedback & Information Governance Team | 020 8489 2550

Dear Mr Briscoe, you may find it helpful to download Transport for London's maps of Red Routes which are on their website here.
