Dear Croydon Borough Council,

Under the Freedom of Information Act, can you please provide the following information on parking permits and electric vehicle charging infrastructure statistics in the council.

Parking Permits - The information is required for last 3 calendar years (2016, 2017, 2018 and 2019 Jan & Feb)
1. Annual number of residents parking permits issued (all types of vehicles)
2. Annual number of residents parking permits for Battery electric vehicles (zero emission vehicles only)
3. Annual number of Business parking permits issued (all types of vehicles)
4. Annual number of Business parking permits for Battery electric vehicles (zero emission vehicles only)

Charging Infrastructure - The information is required for last 3 calendar years (2016, 2017, 2018 and planned for 2019)
1. Total number of public charging locations (excluding taxi only and private charge points like car parks)
2. Total number of public charging points (Multiple points at a single location)
3. 7 kW and below charging points
4. 11 kW charging points
5. 22kW charging points
6. 43 kW and above charging points

Charging Infrastructure - by supplier - The information is required for last 3 calendar years (2016, 2017, 2018, and planned for 2019)

Good morning,

 

Apologies this was missed off the response, see below.

 

 

We can report on the number of public charging points that we have a
record of. There are other EVCP on public websites such as Zapmap, of
which the figures below include one or two high profile locations such as
the 2 Ecotricity rapids at IKEA Valley Park and 2 Chargemaster rapids at
QPark Surrey Street.

 

Some of the charging points installed in 2011/12 have been removed due to
redevelopment of the site or in preparation for upgrade in 2019/20.

 

The numbers planned for 2019 are subject to contract, and to delivery
programmes and conditions.

 

To generate a full and wholly accurate picture would take more than 18
hours and thus is exempt under Section 12 of the FOIA.
