Under the Freedom of Information Act, can you please provide the following information on parking permits and electric vehicle charging infrastructure statistics in the council.

Parking Permits - The information is required for last 3 calendar years (2016, 2017, 2018 and 2019 Jan & Feb)
1. Annual number of residents parking permits issued (all types of vehicles)
2. Annual number of residents parking permits for Battery electric vehicles (zero emission vehicles only)
3. Annual number of Business parking permits issued (all types of vehicles)
4. Annual number of Business parking permits for Battery electric vehicles (zero emission vehicles only)

Charging Infrastructure - The information is required for last 3 calendar years (2016, 2017, 2018 and planned for 2019)
1. Total number of public charging locations (excluding taxi only and private charge points like car parks)
2. Total number of public charging points (Multiple points at a single location)
3. 7 kW and below charging points
4. 11 kW charging points
5. 22kW charging points
6. 43 kW and above charging points

Charging Infrastructure - by supplier - The information is required for last 3 calendar years (2016, 2017, 2018, and planned for 2019)

Parking Permits - The information is required for last 3 calendar years
(2016, 2017, 2018 and 2019 Jan & Feb)

1. Annual number of residents parking permits issued (all types of
vehicles)

Wandsworth Council records this data by financial year.

2016-2017 – 50,566

2017-2018 – 53,057

2018-2019 (up to 28/02/19) – 47,925

 

2. Annual number of residents parking permits for Battery electric
vehicles (zero emission vehicles only)

Wandsworth Council does not separately identify “Battery electric
vehicles”.

A “Greener” vehicle permit is available to those vehicles that meet the
following criteria:

o For vehicles registered prior to the 1 April 2017: 'Greener' vehicle
permits are only available to vehicles within the DVLA band A
category, electric vehicles (not hybrids, unless they are categorised
as DVLA band A) or bio-methane vehicles.
o For vehicles registered on or after 1st April 2017: 'Greener' vehicle
permits are available for vehicles where the CO2 emissions are up to
100g/km.

3. Annual number of Business parking permits issued (all types of
vehicles)

Wandsworth Council records this data by financial year.

2016-2017 – 4,537

2017-2018 – 4,615

2018-2019 (up to 28/02/19) – 3,865

 

4. Annual number of Business parking permits for Battery electric vehicles
(zero emission vehicles only)

Wandsworth Council does not separately identify “Battery electric
vehicles”.

points

3. 7 kW and below charging points  277 installed. Planned for 2019: at
least another 150 charging points

4. 11 kW charging points zero.  Planned for 2019: zero

5. 22kW charging points zero. Planned for 2019: zero

6. 43 kW and above charging points 6 installed. Planned for 2019: another
4 charging points at most

 

Charging Infrastructure - by supplier - The information is required for
last 3 calendar years (2016, 2017, 2018, and planned for 2019)

1. Total number of charging points – Source London - 99 charging points
installed. Planned for 2019: at least another 50 charging points

2. Total number of charging points – Ubitricity – 178 charging points
installed. Planned for 2019: at least another 100 charging points

3. Total number of charging points – Chargemaster -  4 charging points –
unknown plans for 2019

4. Total number of charging points – ESB – 2 charging points – unknown
plans for 2019
