Under the Freedom of Information Act 2000, I would like to request the number of parking penalty charge notices issued for the 2020/21 financial year, and the 2021/22 financial year. I would like to request both the number of parking PCNs issued, as well as the revenue generated from these during this period.

I refer to your recent request for information under the Freedom of
Information Act 2000. I can confirm that the Council does hold this
information, as detailed below.
Under the Freedom of Information Act 2000, I would like to request the
number of parking penalty charge notices issued for the 2020/21 financial
year, and the 2021/22 financial year. I would like to request both the
number of parking PCNs issued, as well as the revenue generated from these
during this period.
2020-2021
Penalty Charge Notices Issued = 9,437
Income received from Penalty Charge Notices in 20-21 = £300,719
2021-2022
Penalty Charge Notices Issued = 15,275
Income received from Penalty Charge Notices in 21-22 = £403,200
This information has been provided in response to a Freedom of Information
request and this must be acknowledged in any subsequent use of the
information. In addition, the authority must be notified of any proposed
re-use of this information for commercial or other purposes.
