Parking fines policy for improper use of electric car charging spaces

Dear Cotswold District Council,

I write to ask for the following:

1. Does the Council have a policy for parking fines against users of non-electric vehicles parking in spaces for electric car charging? If so, what is the penalty enforced and how is it enforced?

2. How many of the car parks with electric car charging have a time limit to them, and what is the limit for each of the Council’s car parks with electric vehicle chargers?

Yours faithfully,

Harry Smith
