Dear Freedom Of Info,

Thank you for your response. You have stated that you cannot provide more detailed information in relation to the precise location of the PCNs issued. Please confirm how you have sourced the information. In particular, was the information sourced from the PCNs themselves and do all of those PCNs simply state 'Tonge Moor Road' as the location of the contravention?

Yours sincerely,

sarah graber

Dear Sarah Graber

Apologies for the delay in responding to your email below. Having
discussed with the service I can confirm the following:-

The computer system lists PCN's by location and in this case it is listed
as Tonge Moor Road, Bolton.

The PCN's state Location: Tonge Moor Road, Bolton.

It is only recommended that the PCN gives:-

Detailed location of vehicle (full street name) - Operational Guidance to
Local Authorities: Parking Policy and Enforcement. Traffic Management Act
2004.

Our IT system only gives details of PCN's by the street name and we are
not able to produce finer detail for each PCN.  In order to this we would
need to create new records by checking each case and photographs
individually for each PCN.   As you can see from the information provided
below this would mean looking through 1080 records in order to identify
specific locations.  Also details recorded may not necessarily identify
street names ie (between Union Road and Crompton Way) as you have
requested.  Examples of information recorded could include, outside a
specific shop, lamppost number etc but in order to identify this
information  we would need to look at each PCN recorded individually.

Should you require any further information please contact
[1][email address]

Many thanks
