3rd December 2013

Dear Sir

FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT 2000 – INFORMATION REQUEST 3467

Your request for information has been considered and I am directed to inform you that:
Details of ALL Parking Enforcement companies that the Trust has contracted with:
The Trust at the County Hospital site, which is a Private Finance Initiative (PFI) site, the car parking is managed by the PFI partner Sodexo. They in turn have CP+ manage the car parks on a day to day basis. At some of the Community sites the free car parking facilities are patrolled by Corporate.

The costs if this went out to competitive tender.
The contract with CP+ is direct with our PFI Partner Sodexo so the costs are not known. Corporate there is not a cost as they receive the funds from fines issued. There is well positioned signage at these sites highlighting visitors, patients and staff on the local parking procedures in place.

A copy of the terms of the tender.
PFI Partner would hold the tender etc for their side. Corporate is an existing contract but will be reviewed and tendered at the end of the existing contract in 18-24 months.

A copy of the contract(s) with said Parking Enforcement companies that the Trust has contracted with.
The Trust believes this will commercial detriment to third parties and falls under Section 43

A full listing of financial gain/loss the Trust has occurred from tickets issued to motorists by yourselves OR the Parking Enforcement companies.
This information may be held by the PFI Partner as the contract is with them. The Trust does not hold this information for the sites covered in the community sites by Corporate.

A breakdown of the full and frank costs that can justify the charges by the Parking Enforcement companies that they pass on to motorists.
The Trust does not hold this information.

If you have any queries or concerns contact details are given at the top of the letter.
