Parking and Driving on Midsummer Common
Dear Cambridge City Council,
A statement from Executive Councillor Cantrill on illegal driving and parking on Midsummer Common was read out to the West/Central area committee on the 21st of June 2011.
That statement said the Cambridge City Council had written to the businesses operating on the common explaining what was and was not permitted.
Could you please release a copy of the letter; along with the list of those it was sent to.
Regards,

Well I am amazed, I have been asking for a copy of or sight of these letters for AGES without success.
The Council seemingly just won't respond without an FOI, it's in their genes.

As an automatic gate has been installed at the end of November 2011, the rules for entry to the common and the associated enforcement of illegal parking rules should have changed.
I am aware that this has been subject to an FOI request by an interested party. I will endeavour to update this note when the information becomes available.
