Dear Blackburn with Darwen Borough Council,

To ask the Mayor/Leader of the Council and Portfolio
Holder(s)/Directors for Families and Children

INTRODUCTION

Given that towns, cities and states in: Austria, Australia,
Belgium, Bermuda, Canada, Czech Republic, Germany, Italy, Mexico,
Poland, South Africa, United Kingdom, and the United States. Within
the U.S.A. 17 States: have all proclaimed an Annual Parental
Alienation Awareness Day (PAAD).

PAAD is intended to raise awareness of Parental Alienation with
parents and children and is held every year on April 25th.

Participation by any National, State or other authority is done by
Formal Proclamation some of which are here:

THE FREEDOM OF INFORMATION REQUEST IS AS FOLLOWS

Does the Local Authority hold information on?

1. Awareness of Parental Alienation for separated parents
2. Have a Policy on Parental Alienation
3. Have an Annual Parental Alienation Awareness Day (PAAD) Policy
or has it made a Declaration
4. Does the Local Authority plan to announce an Annual Parental
Alienation Awareness Day (PAAD) or consider a policy for one and
make a PAAD Declaration
5. If 4 is a yes what does it do or have planned; Events,
publishing, town crier etc
6. A policy for schools and parents information awareness of
Parental Alienation
7. Any other local or internal awareness/education programs on
Parental Alienation
8. Is the Local Authority Linked with or would it like links with
organisations/volunteers involved with Parental Alienation
Awareness such as UKFRM members or their organisations so it may
raise awareness and help deal with Parental Alienation especially
in regard to any PAAD declaration/initiative

The request by the Advocacy Fund is made on Behalf of The UK Family

The Advocacy Fund is conducting this FOI as research request to
Local Authorities so as to provide a Report to the UKFRM and for
publication as to the extent of Areas that are Participating in
PAAD and are involved Parental Alienation Awareness issues to
enhance effective working nationally and locally. A copy of the
report will be provided to you.

The FRM is defined as the community of
mothers'/fathers'/children's/ grandparents'/second spouses'
organisations subscribing to core ideals of the international
Family Rights Movement:

• Presumptive shared parenting,
• Gender equality, and
• Recognition of domestic violence as a genderless dysfunction.

The Members of UKFRM Coalition are from this community and Members
from the following 28 organisations are currently participating in
the UKFRM forum discussions:

Please note in regard to this FOI Request

ICO Section 8 Guidance on FOI Requests states:

In the case of a company, it is not necessary to provide the full
registered name. It will be acceptable to provide another name
which exists as a real entity, such as a trading name.

Also under the guidance an email address is considered sufficient
under the DPA for an address.

FOR CLARITY:
The Advocacy Fund is the Name of the organisation managed by
Advocati Massa Ltd (Reg In England), who appoints it officers. Both
are Not for Profit Organisations.

Both are real names in law and this FOI request is therefore
compliant
with the FOI Act and section 8 Guidance.
