Dear Ms Myer

Thank you for your request for information made under the Freedom of
Information Act (FOIA) 2000, relating to paranormal activity, zombie
invasions and UFO sightings.

I can confirm that Kent County Council’s (KCC’s) Resilience and
Emergencies Unit has not logged any incidents related to UFO sightings or
paranormal activities.

Attached for information is a copy of Kent County Council's Business
Continuity Plan template as utilised by all directorates. The KCC plan for
disruptive impacts upon continuity of service (including loss of staff,
premises, ICT and resources and suppliers) in compliance with KCC’s
Information Security Policy.

I have also attached a link
([1]http://www.kent.gov.uk/__data/assets/pdf...
to the KCC’s Major Emergency Plan, which incorporates a business
continuity element. For information a range of emergency plans may be
found at the Emergency Planning page on the KCC’s website via

If you are unhappy with this response, and believe KCC has not complied
with legislation, please ask for a review by following our complaints
process; details can be found at this link

on our website. Please quote reference FOI/14/1595.

If you still remain dissatisfied following an internal review, you can
appeal to the Information Commissioner, who oversees compliance with the
Freedom of Information Act 2000. Details of what you need to do, should
you wish to pursue this course of action, are available from the
Information Commissioner’s website [4]http://www.ico.org.uk/concerns.

Yours sincerely
