Your request for information received on 05/04/2012 has now been
considered and the information requested is enclosed. You requested:-

1)  Data on Pakistani heritage citizens within the local authority as a
percentage of the overall population.
Please see attached summary spreadsheet. This information relates to the
population of the Pakistani ethnic group as defined in the 2001 Census. 
This is the closest approximation to the term "Pakistani Heritage
Citizens" (as defined above) that is available to us.

2) Data on Pakistani heritage employees of the local authority – numbers,
as a percentage of the overall council workforce and by
grade and department, including schools.

3) Details of any Positive Action programmes to address Pakistani under
representation in the workforce, if any, and the impact of
such programmes which may have run in the past.
I am not aware of any positive action programmes aimed specifically at the
Pakistani community within Dudley MBC.

4) Number of Pakistani heritage elected members and as a percentage of the
overall.
Information is not held as we have never been required to record the
ethnicity of members.
