1. Number and percentage of your students who are of Pakistani heritage.
2. Number and percentage of your teachers who are of Pakistani heritage.
3. Number and percentage of your support staff who are of Pakistani heritage.
4. Number and percentage of your senior leadership team who are of Pakistani heritage.
5. Number and percentage of your governing body who are of Pakistani heritage.
6. Is there under-representation of Pakistani heritage amongst your employees?
7. Is there under-representation of Pakistani heritage amongst your governors?
8. If the answer to 6 and 7 above is in the affirmative, is there a strategy in place to address the gap(s)? Please provide the strategy.

216 students 33%

heritage.

5 staff 12%

3.       Number and percentage of your support staff who are of Pakistani
heritage.

4 staff 10%

4.       Number and percentage of your senior leadership team who are of
Pakistani heritage.

1 staff 10%

5.       Number and percentage of your governing body who are of Pakistani
heritage.

1 governor 9%

6.       Is there under-representation of Pakistani heritage amongst your
employees?

No We have employees from many ethnic backgrounds.  We ensure all
candidates are treated equally and we appoint the best candidate for the
post.

7.       Is there under-representation of Pakistani heritage amongst your
governors?

8.       Yes  - We believe in equal opportunities and therefore if we have
a vacancy for a parent the vacancy is advertised to all parents and they
all have the opportunity to apply..  If there is a teacher governor
vacancy once again all staff have an equal opportunity to apply. 

The local authority governors are decided by the local authority not
ourselves.

Based on your response to question one, it is clear that compared to the percentage of Pakistani heritage students there is under-representation of Pakistani heritage staff and governors. Please let me know whether you have a strategy in place to address this under-representation.

Dear Dr Iqbal

The strategy we have in place is as follows:

We adhere to the local authority equal opportunities guidance regarding recruitment and as such take every candidate that applies on their individual professional merit and therefore we do not actively operate a process of positive discrimination when recruiting staff. We do however positively highlight the diversity of our school in terms of student intake and staffing and celebrate the diversity of our whole school community. However, the best candidate who will do the very best for our student outcomes is always our primary priority during any recruitment process.
