Pagers

Response to this request is long overdue. By law, under all circumstances, Dorset County Hospital NHS Foundation Trust should have responded by now (details). You can complain by requesting an internal review.

Dear Dorset County Hospital NHS Foundation Trust,

Can you please supply the following information:

• Are pagers/bleeps used for communication within your Trust?
• Approximately how many pagers/bleeps does the Trust use?
• Who currently supplies the pager/critical bleep solutions in the Trust?
• What are the pager/bleep contract renewal dates?

Yours faithfully,

Karla Rogosic

Dear Karla

Thank you for your Freedom of Information request.

You will of course be aware that the NHS is facing unprecedented pressures due the coronavirus pandemic. The Information Commissioner’s Office recognises these pressures and has stated “in particular we understand that resources, whether they are finances or people, may be diverted away from usual compliance or information rights work” and goes on to say that individuals “may experience understandable delays when making information rights requests during the pandemic”. Therefore, whilst we are continuing to process requests under the Freedom of Information Act, there are significant delays to the service. This is to enable our staff to focus on serving our patients and our community during this difficult time.

In light of the current situation, and to support our staff in these challenging times, you may wish to consider withdrawing your request. Please do let us know if this is the case.

Thank you for your understanding.

Best wishes
