Dear Customer Support,

My request is in relation to land not an address so the response would be 3/ the land does not have a correct address: I have provided the most relevant co-ordinates to identify the land and request any information pertaining to the ownership of the land located at the aforementioned co-ordinates on Rockshaw Road, Merstham RH1 3DB between Tanglewood and Chaldon Rise Nursing Home.

Dear Grace Pearse.

Thank you for your e-mail dated 09 February 2016.

We cannot search for land from the co-ordinates 51°16'02.1"N 0°07'41.0"W

For an accurate result, you will need to request the Land Registry carry
out a Search of the Index Map (SIM) for you, which will confirm if the
property is registered and if so, provide a Title Number.

Please click on the following link to access the SIM Form .

Where not more than five registered titles are disclosed the fee is £4.00.
Where more than five registered titles are disclosed the fee is £4.00 for
the first five titles, plus £2.00 for every ten titles or up to ten titles
thereafter.

You must send a plan with your application to ensure we can identify the
land that you are interested in, together with a cheque or postal order
payable to Land Registry for £4.00. Please note that if more than five
titles are disclosed then we will request a further fee.

The plan should be drawn to scale and be based on the latest edition of
the large scale Ordnance Survey map. The scale and north point should be
indicated, and the extent of the property should be shown by suitable
colouring and its position in relation to nearby roads, and other
features, should be readily apparent.

A screenshot from Google Maps will not be accepted.

The form, plan and fee should be sent to:

The search result will be posted back to you.

If the land is registered, you can then use the title number(s) supplied
to search under 'Property Ownership' on our website www.gov.uk and you
will be able to download a copy of the register, and if it is
electronically available the title plan, to your PC.

Further to your recent enquiry.
We do not have a common land register at land registry so I would assume
this relates to a different service to that which we supply.
Our information is taken from the Index Map which is based on ordnance
survey information.
 
The result of an index map search is guaranteed, but we do need to know
the precise extent of the area of land you wish to search against. That is
why we require an accurate plan.
