Council does not routinely release names or direct contact details for its officers as the
emphasis is on contacting the correct department within the organisation rather than an
individual officer.
Given the size of the organisation and the possibility of staff redeployment or secondment into
different job roles, providing a central contact point within a department (where available) is
more practical. Central contact points are accessible by a number of officers; therefore,
ensuring efficient handling of queries/requests.
