COMMENTS
The Trust continue to fund Non-Statutory Day Opportunities. Providers are expected to maintain contact with their attendees and be creative
how they could engage in some meaningful activities or offering support and advise as and when required.
Direct Payments – the Trust continues to support direct payment recipients in line with regional guidance.
Domiciliary services – some services were temporarily suspended as families self isolated or due to lockdown couldn’t avail of their flexible
respite service.
In respect of short break services, the Trust has begun its “Re-building” process. Presently the Trust has access to 4 statutory beds and one
independent bed.
Trust commissioned short break services in care homes have to abide by the care home regulations as directed by PHA and RQIA, where there is
an expectation that for each service-user they need to have access to their own “activity room”. The Trust is seeking further clarity on this
matter so that it can continue to restart and step up our services in a safe and realistic manner.
The Trust has not access to the information requested for July and August.
