Overseas trips to China

Dear University of Reading,

This is a request for information under the Freedom of Information Act and relates to overseas trips to China.

From 1st January 2018 to the current day, I would like to know the number of overseas trips university officials (excluding academic staff) have taken in the course of conducting university business.

For each overseas trip to China, please provide the following information:

- The date and duration of the overseas trip to China, as well as the province/city that was visited

- The position of the university official who went on the overseas trip to China

- A description of why the university official went on the overseas trip to China, indicating who that university official met and what was discussed. Please indicate whether any contracts or agreements were signed during or after the trip

- Please provide a breakdown of the cost of the overseas trip, and please indicate who met the costs of the overseas trip

I would like to receive the information electronically. If you feel that a substantive response to this request is not possible within a reasonable time frame, or the request is too broad or too vague, I would be grateful if you could contact me and provide assistance as to how I could refine the request.
