I write to you under the Freedom of Information Act 2000 requesting information pertaining to the amount of money spent by the council each year to fund overseas trips for council officials.
For each individual year 2018 to 2023 (inclusive), please would you be able to provide the following:
• The number of overseas trips conducted by Colchester Council officials / councillors / staff
• The amount of money spent by the council to fund overseas trips for Colchester Council officials / councillors / staff

for Officials.
We do hold the information you have requested and it has been provided in
this email. Additional comments (if any) can be found below. If any

The only year in the specified period in which such trips were undertaken
was 2023.
In 2023 three trips were undertaken at an overall cost to the Council of
£1021.42.
