Overpricing

Response to this request is long overdue. By law, under all circumstances, ASDA Stores Limited should have responded by now (details). You can complain by requesting an internal review.

Dear ASDA Stores Limited,

Please can you tell me why you have doubled the prices of your cheaper basics items?
Things such as the basics chicken soup have gone from 24p to 45p in a week.
You seem to be furiously increasing prices with little regard to your customers affordability and with seemingly no genuine reason.
Price caps on energy and reduction in fuel costs are no longer a reason and a war 2000 miles away is irrelevant.
Please also could you state what date you will be reducing prices back to 2021 levels

Yours faithfully,

craig smith

Dear Mr Smith

I am writing further to your Freedom of Information Act request in
relation to the prices of our cheaper basic items.  Please note that as
Asda is not a public body the Act does not apply to it and we are
therefore not required to provide information in response to a request
under it.

However, please do feel free to contact our Customer Services Team on 0800
952 0101 who will be happy to discuss your questions with you directly.

Yours sincerely

Dear Phil Gorski,
As this seems to be the only way to contact asda directly (facebook pages seem to be run by bots as humans arent capable) then am asking here.
When will asda be reducing their basics products (the yellow and white packaging) to affordable levels again?
As an effort to help those on low incomes

Yours sincerely,

craig smith
