Overdose / Poisoning (Ingestion) clinical infomation
Dear Northern Ireland Ambulance Service Health and Social Care Trust,
I would like to make a Freedom of Information request to find clinical details for all calls that involved Overdose / Poisoning (Ingestion). Please report the information for the period of 1/4/2016 to the 31/3/2017. These dates are for where a vehicle arrives on scene rather than when the call is received by NIAS. E.g. there may be calls made on the 31/3/2016 where a vehicle only arrives on scene on the 1/4/2016.
Please provide a spreadsheet or database which includes the following information:
• Incident / Call Number
• Date of call
• Time of call
• Call Category ( A / B / C or HCP )
• HCP Time ( 1, 2, 3 or 4 hours)
• HSC Trust
• Chief Complaint arrived at by despatch protocol
• Dispatch Code Description
• Dispatch Code
• Vehicle Callsign
• Date at scene
• Time at scene
• Date at hospital
• Time at hospital
• Handover time
• Hospital attended by resource
• PRF identifying number or blank if no PRF exists
• Overdose / Poisoning (from PRF)
• Activated Charcoal (from PRF)
• Naloxone Narcan (from PRF)
• Drugs Suspected (from PRF)
• Alcohol Suspected (from PRF)
• Cardiac Arrest (from PRF)
• ROLE (from PRF)
• DNAR (from PRF)
• Traumatic Arrest (from PRF)
• Non Conveyance / Refusal / Referral code from PRF – 1,2,3,4 or 5 as per PRF.
Please make use of the following conventions for the information sourced from the PRF
• either Yes / No or blank in paramedic did not record this information.
If you anonymise the call number, please ensure that duplicate call number information is still retained. E.g if call number 3000000 is used for vehicle S121 and S122 it is still possible to tie the 2 PRF's to the same call.
Yours faithfully,
Mr Jones
