Please could you provide me with the following information with regards to outsource the Outpatient Parenteral Antibiotic Therapy (OPAT) service at your organisation?

1. Total expenditure for outsourcing the Outpatient Parenteral Antibiotic Therapy (OPAT) service and the full structure of the OPAT team (e.g. number of nurses, pharmacists, consultants etc.) within the financial year of 2015-2016.
2. Total drug expenditure for the OPAT services within the financial year of 2015-2016.
3. Total number of patients treated via the OPAT services within the financial year of 2015-2016.

All financial information agreed with a provider, regardless of whether
the contract is on-going is considered commercially sensitive and
therefore exempt under section 43 of the Freedom of Information Act 2000.

 

ORLA are considered the authors of any documents which may be available
pertaining to the team structure, number of patients treated and those
antibiotics used. This information is therefore not available from the
Princess Alexandra Hospital NHS Trust and should instead be referred
direct to the author.

 

 2. Total antibiotic expenditure for the Hospital at Home services (ORLA)
within the financial year of 2015-2016.
