I have not received a response to my request for information under the FOI Act. Please note the Freedom of Information Act states:

The University has completed its search for the information requested by
you under the Freedom of Information Act (“FOIA”).  The specific questions
asked were:

 

1.    Which, if any, of the following services are fully or partly
outsourced to third-party organisations for your University. Please state
fully outsourced / partly outsourced and percentage / fully in-house:

 

·         Cleaning Services

 

·         Security Services

 

·         Catering Services

 

·         Transport Services

 

·         Helpdesk Services (IT/Facilities)

IT or Facilities Services (please state nature of shared service)

 

In response to your questions using the same numbering please see below:

·         Cleaning Services – Fully in-house

   

·         Security Services – Fully Outsourced

 

·         Catering Services – Fully Outsourced

 

·         Transport Services – Mainly Insourced but we don’t operate large
buses we use various bus companies for day trips etc.

 

·         Helpdesk Services (IT/Facilities) – Fully in-house

 

2.    The University does not make use of any sector or Industry-based
shared services for IT or Facilities Services.

 

If you are unhappy with the service you have received in relation to your
request and wish to make a complaint or request a review of our decision,
you should write to the Information Protection Unit, Coventry University,

If you believe that the University has not dealt with your request in
accordance with the FOIA, please be advised that you have the right to
have this decision reviewed via the University’s complaints procedure, a

directly to the Information Commissioner for a decision.  Generally, the
ICO cannot make a decision unless you have exhausted the complaints
