Dear Department for Work and Pensions,
Please can you clarify the following-
I am currently claiming income related ESA. I also receive PIP, high rate of both components with a severe disability premium. I own my home outright. I have no mortgage or ground rents as it’s a freehold property. I have been led to believe that as I do NOT require any
assistance with housing benefit, I wouldn’t be entitled to claim UC?
Therefore, my questions are simply-
1) Will I be able to remain on legacy benefits once UC migration is rolled out where I live?
2) If so, will this remain the case indefinitely?
