Outcomes in paper and oral appeals determined by the First-tier Tribunal (Immigration and Asylum Chamber) since 2010

The request was successful.

Dear Her Majesty’s Courts and the Tribunals Service,

Please, I would like to request the following information:

the outcome of appeals determined by the First-tier Tribunal (Immigration and Asylum Chamber) since 2010 by reference to whether the appeal was decided at an oral hearing and on the papers without an oral hearing.

More precisely, I request statistics on the number of oral and paper appeals that are allowed and dismissed - as broken down by the type of appeal (eg asylum, managed migration, entry clearance, visitor visa, and deportation).

Many thanks.

Yours faithfully,

Robert Thomas
