Dear FOI,
I was dissapointed when I received the CD. The CD I asked for needs to include all Route annoucnemts and all bus top announcements. an example of this is "434 to Coulsdon" " Ridgemount Avenue". I want all recordings currently in use on the iBus. This includes , Destination announcements ; route numbers ; bus stop names and additional announcments. Please send a CD with all this on.
Yours sincerely,
Mark

Dear Mark
I am contacting you regarding your email expressing concern about the CD of iBus recordings that was released to you. In view of your concerns, your email is being considered as a request for an internal review.
I have been in touch with the iBus team and I can confirm that the CD released to you does consist of all the iBus recordings currently held. It may help to clarify that there aren't individual recordings for every announcement that you will hear on a bus. Instead the iBus system compiles bus announcements by combining the relevant audio files for the bus route and as the bus reaches each point on its route. For instance, if you check the recordings on the CD you will find a file for "434", two files for "To" and one for "Coulsdon Ridgemount Avenue", which can be combined to make the route and direction announcement for the 434.
As a result, the finding of the internal review is that all the relevant information has been released to you and there is no more to provide.
If you are dissatisfied with the outcome of this internal review, you can refer the matter to the independent authority responsible for enforcing the Freedom of Information Act, at the following address.
