ORT and psychosocial alcohol and drug treatment

We're waiting for Karin Goodwin to read recent responses and update the status.

Dear council team

I am looking for the following information on the number of people in your local authority area who are being supported on opiate replacement therapy, as well as the use of psychosocial therapies and treatments including counselling, CBT, psychotherapy, higher intensity therapies etc. I am also looking for the costs associated.

1a) How many people has the local authority supported on opiate replacement therapy (ORT), including methadone and buprenorphine, in the following ten years?

2012/2013,
2013/14,
2014/15,
2015/16,
2016/17,
2017/18,
2018/19,
2019/20,
2020/21,
2021 to present

1b) How many people on ORT were offered tier 2, tier 3 and tier 4 (if defined) psychosocial treatment and therapies in the last ten years (as above)?

2a) What was the cost of ORT over the last ten years (as above)

2b) What was the cost of psychosocial treatments provided over the last ten years (as above)

If this request is unclear in any way, I would be grateful if you could contact me as I understand that under the Freedom of Information Act, you are required to advise and assist requesters. If any of this information is already in the public domain, please can you direct me to it?

I refer to your request for information which was dealt with in terms of
the Freedom of Information (Scotland) Act 2002 (FOISA).

 

I have to advise that the information you requested is information not
held by the Council and as such I must refuse your request in terms of
Section 17 of FOISA.
