Dear Mr Ellis

TfL Ref: FOI-1556-1415

Thank you for your email received by us on 14 December 2014 asking for
information about Streatham.

Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of
the Freedom of Information Act and our information access policy. I can
confirm we hold some of the information you require.

Please find attached the traffic volume data taken from our Automatic
Traffic Counters (ATCs) on the A23, B272, B273, A213, A214 and B221
between 2006 and 2014.

Please note we do not have an ATC on the A216 and therefore are unable to
provide annual traffic volume data for this road.

The spreadsheet attached has all the ATC data from counters on the above
roads on different tabs and is split by month (MADT – Monthly Average
Daily Traffic), season (SADT – Seasonal Average Daily Traffic) and Year
(Annual Average Daily Traffic). Next to each total is the number of days
used to average the data.

This is all raw data from the machines so there are gaps where the
machines have been out of action or there have been incidents on the road
i.e. roadworks which would affect the totals.

Each tab has the ATC number, road name and grid reference of location of
the ATC. The ATC 139 on the A23 was only installed at the end of 2008
therefore we cannot provide data back to 2006 for this counter. You may
also look on the DfT website [1]http://www.dft.gov.uk/traffic-counts/ to
obtain further traffic volume data in areas where we do not have ATCs.

Road safety data ca be found at the following link:
[2]http://www.tfl.gov.uk/corporate/publicat...

You will find the information you require under Data extracts; by looking
at the attendant files and Road Class and Road No. it is possible to
filter for the roads mentioned below. Records are available from 2005 to
2013.

2014 data is not yet available, the latest provisional data we have is to
end August 2014. We receive collision details from the Police and it takes
a while for them to collate these records and pass them to us. We would
expect that 2014 data would be available end April / May this year.  We
will upload similar data extracts for 2014 in the summer.

All of the Rail Origin and Destination data held by TfL can be accessed
through the following ink:

Please note that where links to published information have been provided
above, this is in accordance with section 21 of the FOI Act whereby we are
not obliged to supply information that is already accessible to you
elsewhere.

If this is not the information you are looking for, or if you are unable
to access it for some reason, please do not hesitate to contact me.

Please see the attached information sheet for details of your right to
appeal as well as information on copyright and what to do if you would
like to re-use any of the information we have disclosed.

Yours sincerely
