Dear P John

Thank you for your emails. It appears you have found the extent of the published information relating to Orgreave coking plant on the National Archives website here: https://webarchive.nationalarchives.gov....

We understand that South Yorkshire Police is currently working on a publication strategy relating to the miners’ strike which incorporates the policing of Orgreave. The publication of the Orgreave material must be done in conjunction with publishing papers relating to the miners’ strike as a whole to ensure all the documents can be read and understood in the proper context.  This will also ensure that the information will be produced and published efficiently, will be available to all enquirers at the same time and in a consistent format. You may wish to contact South Yorkshire Police directly for further information relating to this strategy as this may assist with your enquiries.

We hope that you find this information helpful.

Yours sincerely
