I would like to establish some information regarding children’s and adults social services and would be grateful if you could answer the following question for me:

1. Please provide me with an up to date Organisational Structure chart for and Children’s Social Services and Adult’s Social Services including all manager NAMES including Team Manager, Service Manager, Head of Service and Director level, contact email address, contact telephone numbers and job titles.

Freedom of Information Act 2000 - Request for Information

I am writing in respect of your recent enquiry for information held by the Authority under the provisions of the Freedom of Information Act.

Please find the information in response to your request attached.

After careful consideration we have decided not to disclose some of the staff details requested, namely those relating to Team Managers. When a request is for personal data about the authority’s employees, it is exempt under FOIA Section 40(2) if it would contravene any of the data protection principles to disclose it. It is considered that the disclosure of this information would not be fair to individuals and would therefore contravene the first data protection principle. Therefore this information is exempt under FOIA section 40(2) personal information.

If you are unhappy with the way the authority has handled your request, you may ask for an internal review. Please contact the Council’s Senior Information Governance Officer, Corporate Information Governance Team, Wakefield Metropolitan District Council, County Hall, Bond Street, Wakefield WF1 2QW, [Wakefield City Council request email] who will arrange an internal review of your case.
