Dear General Dental Council,

My query is regarding the booking process for ORE part 1. With regards to the booking process for the last 6 ORE part 1 exams...

1. How many people applied and how many people were successful in securing a place?

2. For each of the 6 exams, can you specify the exact time, to the nearest second, within which all the places for the exam were filled while booking online?

3. What is the reason for keeping the number of exam places limited whereas there is a very high demand for people to sit the exam? Is it to ensure that there is a control on the influx of foreign qualified dentists into the UK? Or is it purely a capacity issue?

Yours faithfully,

Faizan
