Dear Grampian Health Board,
If available could you advise on the shortest/median/longest waiting time between
a) referral from an optician to outpatient consultation for cataract appraisal, and
b) referral from outpatient consultation to cataract surgery.
c) number of people currently awaiting initial outpatient consultation, and currently awaiting surgery.
d) number of patients offered alternative health board consultations (Glasgow, Edinburgh etc) to facilitate treatment.
