Subject: Freedom of Information request - Ophthalmology Appointments and Training Places

Dear Swansea Bay University Health Board,

I write regarding an FOI into ophthalmology appointments and training places for ophthalmologists in the last five years. As a result, I'd be grateful if you could answer the following questions please:

1. How many ophthalmology appointments were cancelled in the financial years 2014-15, 2015-16, 2016-17, 2017-18 and 2018-19?

2. How many training places were provided in the field of ophthalmology in the financial years 2014-15, 2015-16, 2017-18 and 2018-19?

3. How many applications for ophthalmology training places were received in the financial years above?

Please can we clarify that the cancellations you require, are the cancellations made by us as a health board and not patient cancellations?
