Operation TRIASSIC

sarah laws made this Freedom of Information request to Solicitors Regulation Authority

This request has been closed to new correspondence from the public body. Contact us if you think it ought be re-opened.

The request was partially successful.

Dear Solicitors Regulation Authority,

What has been your involvement in operation Triassic.

What has been the outcome of your involvement in operation triassic.

The involvement of a private partisan body, the Insurance Fraud bureau, in the prosecution of this case could be deemed to have been prejudicial to the case.
The Judge at Southwark Crown Court allegedly described the prosecution as 'scandalous'. The case was thrown out.

Will you continue to have involvement in joint case investigations with the IFB?

What risk assessments have you performed of such involvement?

Will you share these risk assessments with the public?

Have you been subject to any litigation consequent to your involvement in activities with the Insurance Fraud Bureau?

Yours faithfully,

sarah laws
