Thank you for your e-mail of 17 July. With reference to my letter of 16 July, may I kindly ask you to refine your request further. Focusing on documents that relate to the "Krajina, Operation Storm and the Z-4 plan in so far as they relate to Croatia and Serbia" retains much of the scope of your original request. I note that you have specified HM Government-originated documents, which is helpful in narrowing the number of documents within a file. However, as stated in my letter, our initial search on the key-words that you are specifying is returning too many files for us to locate and retrieve documents from, within the appropriate limits set out in the Act.
For example, you could consider refining your request by: choosing either the Krajina, Operation Storm, or the Z-4 plan; defining more specifically the information that you are after within these subject areas; choosing a single country, such as Croatia or Serbia.
In addition, please could I remind you to include a date range in your request.
