Operation Pelican
Dear Cabinet Office,
Under the FOIA, the FCDO informed me that the Cabinet Office was one of the key departments involved in Operation Pelican - the UK government effort to remove Julian Assange from the Ecuadorian embassy in London.
Please provide me with the following information:
1) How many Cabinet Officials officials were assigned to/working with Operation Pelican, and who was in charge?
2) What was Operation Pelican's budget per year from when it first began in June 2018, and how
much did Operation Pelican spend since it first began?
3) Please provide me with all communications - via email, whatsapp, minuted meetings and phonecalls, text, ms teams, signal, or any other format - between Operation Pelican officials based in the Cabinet Office and officials in the Ecuadorian embassy in London for the years 2018 and 2019.
Yours faithfully,
Kevin McEvoy
