Operation Cygnus

Response to this request is long overdue. By law, under all circumstances, Department of Health and Social Care should have responded by now (details). You can complain by requesting an internal review.

Dear Department of Health and Social Care,

In a video from April 28. Matt Hancock is pressed by NickFerrari on LBC on the Exercise Cygnus report – which the Guardian published today (May 07th). Mr Hancock insisted within that video that his officials told him “everything that was recommended was done”.

Please provide the following information in compliance with the FOI Act 2000.

1. Which officials gave the reassurance to Mr Hancock?
2. When did those officials provide the reassurance to Mr Hancock?
3. In what communicative format were those reassurances provided, whether by email, telephone call or something other? If in writing, please provide a copy and if by telephone, please provide a transcript of the telephone call.

Yours faithfully,

P Newton

Dear Department of Health and Social Care,

Please pass this on to the person who conducts Freedom of Information reviews.

I am writing to request an internal review of Department of Health and Social Care's handling of my FOI request 'Operation Cygnus'.

The statutory time within which a response was expected is now long overdue. This may of course been a simple oversight, therefore please attend to an internal review of how the request has been handled.

A full history of my FOI request and all correspondence is available on the Internet at this address: https://www.whatdotheyknow.com/request/o...

Yours faithfully,

P Newton
