Please provide the revenue obtained by the Council from events at the Open Air Theatre. I want to see total revenue received to date. You can break it down by year if you like.
Dear Scarborough Borough Council,
I've not had any information from yourselves pertaining to the 'Open Air Theatre Profit and Los Account' FOI request. I would like to remind you that by law you should have promptly responded by 20th June 2011. Please provide this information immediately. If you are unable to do this please provide a timescale for doing so.
Good Morning Tim
Please accept my apologies for the delay in responding to your FOIA request.
I have all the details ready to send you with the exception of the contractual details that you have requested. This is being looked at by our legal team and hopefully we will be able to provide you with a full response to all of your questions by the close of business today.
I want to provide you with as much detail as I can without falling foul of the terms of the contract and therefore this has taken longer than usual to respond to.
Once again, please accept my apologies and I will ensure that you receive a response to your request today.
Dear Mr Tim Thorne

Dear Neil Hughes,
Thanks for the reply. I have a couple of queries about the information provided.
As I understand it Phase 1 of the Sands project was completed last year when the final property was sold. I'm guessing SBC not received this money? Are you asking about part payment from the developer or waiting for payment in full when their funds allow?
The charges for 2009/10 are larger than 2010/11. Were the increased security costs and toilet costs incurred due to the construction of the OAT? If not, could you explain such a large disparity between the two financial years.
Good Morning Mr Thorne
In response to your questions:
Phase 1 of the Sands development is practically complete however some of the commercial units are still to be let or sold.
It is envisaged that payment for the OAT will be received by September.
The figures that were outlined on the original reply were for 2010/11 and 2011/12 (if my response mentioned the incorrect years I apologise). No revenue costs were incurred in 2009/10 as the venue was still under construction. The costs in the second year are lower than the first since we are only 3 months into the financial year and not all of the costs have yet been incurred for this financial year.
Hope this helps but if not please let me know. I also sent an e-mail to you towards the end of last week asking for some clarity around the questions that you had asked on Scarborough Spa, hopefully you received that but if not please let me know.
