Dear Mr Reeves,

 

I refer to your recent request for information relating to Oobedoo Ltd in
which you requested:

 

“Copy of any commitments made by Oobedoo regarding making Wales the centre
of their commercial activity as a condition of getting an investment from
Finance Wales.

 

Copy of any correspondence between Finance Wales & the company showing
that FW is attempting to verify that those commitments are being fulfilled
.”

 

In response to your request I can advise that:

 

1.      With regard to commitments made by Oobedoo Ltd in relation to
location, the investment agreement between Finance Wales Investments Ltd
and Oobedoo Ltd contained the following clause:

“First Completion will not occur until the Investors have received, in
each case in form and substance satisfactory to it, the documents, items
and evidence that the Company is located in Wales;

2.      I can advise Finance Wales does not hold copies of correspondence
with Oobedoo on the subject of location. Finance Wales does however, hold
a copy of the lease for Oobedoo’s premises in Wales which was provided as
evidence in order to satisfy the terms of the investment agreement.

Your request has been considered according to the Freedom of Information
Act 2000 and principles set out in the National Assembly for Wales Code of
Practice on Public Access to Information the Code is published [1]here.

 

If you believe that Finance Wales has not applied the Code correctly or
has not followed the relevant legislation please contact me.  If you are
