Onboard train jingle sound file.

SE Trains Limited did not have the information requested.

Dear SE Trains Limited,

Could i please make a Freedom Of Information Act request for a sound file of that three chime jingle that plays on your class 707s every time the Driver makes a manual announcement. It sounds very similar to the NS (Netherlands Railways) jingle. It only plays when the Driver makes a manual announcement and does not play for automated announcements.

I looked through the class 707s announcements folder that you released to someone else and in the "sfx" sub section there are quite a few chimes and jingles but the one i am requesting is not there.

If you would be able to attach this jingle in any format such as in MP3 or in WAV that would be very much appreciated.

Yours faithfully,

Darren Parker

You may want to try asking ScotRail - the same sound can be heard on their Class 380 'Desiro' units - presumably it is originating from the Televic provided PIS system, hence the crossover between fleets.
