Jennifer Childs, Folkestone Town Council

Dear Mr Fagg

Please be advised that Folkestone Town Council has ear marked £10,000 in its 2012/13 budget for Special 2012 Events including the Olympics and Jubilee.

The town council is working in collaboration with Folkestone Town Centre Management and Shepway District Council and other organisations in the town on a variety of events.

It is hoped that an event at the Old Town Hall for the torch bearers and the Mayor will be organised but this is subject to confirmation on routes.

The public will be offered the opportunity to attend free events such as: the jubilee air show, a harbour fun day, the Lighting of the Beacon.

Kind regards

Jennifer Childs
Town Clerk
