Dear Glasgow Caledonian University,

This is a request under the Environmental Information Regulations 2004. I would like to request the following information:

For the calendar years 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021 and 2022, I would like to be provided with details on accepted donations, gifts, grants, sponsorships, scholarships and funding (including research funding and teaching funding, as well as funding for university staff and professorships) that have come from oil and gas companies. For each, I would like the following information:

- The name of the oil/gas company that gave the donation, gift, grant, sponsorship, scholarship or funding
- The start and end date of the donation, gift, grant, sponsorship, scholarship or funding if available
- The sum and description of the accepted donation, gift, grant, sponsorship, scholarship and funding
- A description of what the donation, gift, grant, sponsorship, scholarship and funding was used for

If your records are held in such a way where it is difficult to search by sector (e.g. oil and gas), then I am happy to narrow the request to the following companies:

- BP
- Shell
- Saudi Aramco
- Gazprom
- Total
- Chevron
- Equinor / Statoil
- China Petroleum and Chemical Corporation (SINOPEC)
- Eni
- Exxon
- ConocoPhillips
- PetroChina

University has not accepted any donations, gifts, grants, sponsorships,
scholarships or funding (including research funding and teaching funding,
as well as funding for university staff and professorships) from the
listed oil and gas companies. Please note, the University is unable to
search by sector and as such has responded based on the list of companies
provided in your request.
