Offers given to successful applicants for entry to A100 medicine at Cambridge in 2020
Dear University of Cambridge,
I would like to request the following information please for applicants in the current application cycle for A100 Medicine 2020 entry:
• Number total applicants to Cambridge for A100
• Number of applicants for A100 by college
All requests refer to A100
• Number of applicants from UK state schools, the average BMAT score (Sections 1 and 2) , the % offer rate and average BMAT scores (sections 1 and 2 ) of offer holders
• Number of state school offers with BMAT less that total BMAT average for all offer holders
• Number of independent school offers with BMAT less than average for all offer holders
• Number of applicants from UK independent schools, the average BMAT score (Sections 1 and 2), the % offer rate and average BMAT scores (sections 1 and 2 ) of offer holders
For those candidates who were successful in obtaining offers only;
• What % of state school offers were above the standard A*A*A at A level (for A levels not yet taken)
• What % of state school offers were below the standard A*A*A
• What % of independent school offers were above the standard A*A*A at A level (to be achieved)
• What % of independent school offers were below the standard A*A*A
• How many state school offers were made with conditions on 4 A levels and how many on 5 or more A levels
• How many independent school offers were made with conditions on 4 A levels and how many on 5 or more?

Thanks for your email. By early June 2020 the vast majority of offers will have been made and so the data would be in an almost-final state. It will not be finalised until after the cycle has closed in early September 2020.
