Off street parking - The Green -

The request was successful.

Dear Beaumaris Town Council, Anglesey, Dear Town Clerk - thanks for your reply (attached)Dear Sir,
With regards to your request, please receive below responses
1) An OSPO has not been applied to the Green regarding Camper Vans
2) If a Camper Van exceeds the evening exit time - a PCN is not applied.

Your sincerely
G Parry
Town Clerk

Yours faithfully,

G K Jones

Could you please clarify :
If an OSPO has not been applied to camper vans what is the indesputable legal justification for dis-allowing them to stay after 10pm - 8am or thereabouts.
Have Beaunaris Town Council applied and received the statutory permission for a Bye Law relating to the above, if so could you please inform of it.
Secondly : You state that no PCN is applied - do you enforce any form of financial penalty to the vehicles' registered keeper ?
If so, under which Act / Bye Law is the relevant penalty administered
Thank you - GK Jones

Beaumaris Town Council, Beaumaris Town Council, Anglesey

In reply to your request for clarification:-
OSPO - there is no legal justification for dis-allowing them to stay, other than that the Green is private land.
We currently do not enforce any form of financial penalty. A consideration is being made to prevent large vehicles parking on the Green, by way of a height barrier.

Yours sincerely
G Parry
